AI Applications Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and support advanced AI-driven enterprise applications utilizing contemporary AI frameworks such as AI Agents, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Model Context Protocol (MCP), and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Implement classical AI methodologies including clustering, classification, regression, Monte Carlo simulations, and Bayesian blending to address intricate business challenges.
• Engage in system planning, scheduling, and implementation for large-scale AI-powered applications.
• Develop and refine product features to automate complex business workflows and elevate operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with diverse, cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver innovative AI solutions that meet strategic business objectives.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and optimal performance of applications within a cloud-native infrastructure.
• Contribute to the establishment and adherence of AI development best practices, encompassing testing, deployment, and monitoring standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a comparable technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Artificial Intelligence, software engineering, or allied fields (exceptional candidates with less experience will be actively considered).
• Demonstrated proficiency in Python and/or Java programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with leading AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Oracle Cloud AI Services.
• Solid understanding of machine learning techniques and statistical modeling principles.
• Experience working with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectural patterns.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical acumen to translate business requirements into robust, scalable AI solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective collaboration within global, multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related advanced field.
• Proven experience with Large Language Models, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), or other sophisticated AI tooling.
• Experience in developing and deploying enterprise-grade AI solutions on cloud platforms, with a preference for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD tools for streamlined continuous delivery and automation.
