AI Agent Developer

Join BlackRock's Legal and Compliance (L&C) Technology & Transformation Team as an AI Agent Developer Associate in Gurgaon/Gurugram, India. This role is pivotal in driving L&C's AI strategy, enabling operational scale and impact through innovative AI-powered agent solutions. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and deploying these solutions to automate and transform L&C processes, partnering with stakeholders across the organization to identify and implement intelligent automation opportunities for enhanced efficiency.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with L&C stakeholders and internal engineering/data teams to understand business workflows and translate them into effective AI agent solutions. You will participate in the entire AI initiative lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, and contribute to maintaining and evolving the team's AI tools and agents. A strong awareness of current and emerging AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic frameworks, coupled with a continuous improvement mindset, is essential.

Key responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and deploying AI agent solutions using LLMs and agentic frameworks (e.g., Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI). You will partner with Legal & Compliance stakeholders to define use cases and translate business needs into technical requirements. Contributing to the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring adherence to governance standards, and maintaining/optimizing existing AI solutions are crucial. This role also involves troubleshooting, documenting AI solutions, providing end-user training, managing project deliverables, and proactively identifying risks. You will work closely with diverse teams to translate concepts into prototypes and solve complex problems in a dynamic environment, fostering transparency, diversity, and teamwork.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience, with hands-on experience in AI/ML frameworks, LLMs, or agentic development tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI).
• Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines, prompt engineering, and model evaluation.
• Proficiency in Python; Java experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent).
• Experience with Agile development concepts and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced global environment.
