The Tech Stack & Requirements

• Core Language: Python is the primary language for this role.
• Cloud Platform: Microsoft Azure (required as the primary cloud platform).
• Azure AI Foundry: Hands-on experience building with this platform is required. This is non-negotiable.

LLM & Agent Frameworks

• Claude Code: Experience and expertise in Claude Code are mandatory, including hands-on development of skills and plugins on the platform.
• LangGraph: Required experience. You must demonstrate the ability to design state graphs, conditional edges, and multi-agent compositions.
• MCP (Model Context Protocol): Experience required for designing tool calls and building protocol wrappers.

Data & Infrastructure

• Validation: Use Pydantic for data validation and structured outputs across agent systems and APIs.
• Databases: SQL proficiency with PostgreSQL experience. Vector database familiarity (pgvector, Azure AI Search, or similar).
• Data Platforms: Familiarity with modern platforms like Snowflake and Databricks.

Model Strategy

• You must possess strong fluency across modern frontier language models including the GPT, Claude, and Gemini families.
• Demonstrate model selection discipline driven by task requirements and practical cost considerations.

Development & Deployment

• Containerization: Docker proficiency for development and deployment workflows.
• APIs: FastAPI or equivalent web frameworks for building backend services.
• DevOps: Working knowledge of GitHub workflows, code review discipline, and infrastructure-as-code patterns.

Evaluation

Demonstrate ability to build multi-step agent systems with proper evaluation and validation protocols.
