Agentic AI Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an AI Agent / Retrieval Engineer in Delhi to build autonomous AI systems capable of searching, reasoning over, and working with large real-world information systems. You will develop agent architectures that independently explore databases, retrieve relevant semantic information, maintain memory, and perform multi-step research tasks.

Your Responsibilities

• Semantic search and indexing over large existing databases.
• Developing LLM agents to autonomously inspect schemas and query data.
• Building retrieval pipelines using embeddings/vector similarity where appropriate.
• Implementing SQL/Python integration for database tooling, agent memory, and knowledge representations (e.g., Knowledge Graphs).
• Designing evaluations for retrieval precision/recall and agent reliability.
• Running experiments comparing vector/hybrid retrieval approaches against structured search.

We Are Looking For

You are a strong Python engineer with solid software engineering fundamentals, comfortable with SQL and databases. You understand embeddings, transformers, and modern LLM systems.

Requirements

You must be available to work in person in Delhi for substantial portions of the project. Experience with FAISS, vector databases, RAG, or agent architectures is a plus but not mandatory if you can learn quickly from first principles.
