Full Job Description
This Vice President role in Software Engineering, based in Mumbai, India, requires a lead with expert-level experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) design and development (15+ years). The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams, and will be responsible for full-stack development, component design, strategy development, and project management. You will lead and guide team members.
Key technical proficiencies include:
- AEM Expertise: Expert-level experience in AEM design and development (AEM 6.4 or above, Adobe Analytics).
- Java: Expert-level experience with Java 8+ and object-oriented design.
- Web Technologies: Proficient in client/server-side technologies (JS, CSS, HTML5), web infrastructure (web/app server, load balancing), caching, compression, security, content distribution networks, and web usage analytics. Specific technologies include React, Bootstrap, jQuery, AJAX, Maven, Gradle, REST, and Spring Boot.
- Databases: Working knowledge of relational database design and development (SQL, Sybase, Postgres, SQL Server).
- Scripting: Experience with Unix bash scripting and/or Python.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum), DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, and IntelliJ is expected.
- Cloud: Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus.
