Full Job Description
Morgan Stanley seeks a Vice President in Software Engineering to lead AEM Java Fullstack development in Mumbai, India. This role involves full-stack development and design of software components, project management, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will possess expert-level experience in AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) design and development, with over 15 years of experience as an AEM developer. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for working with both technical and non-technical teams.
Key technical proficiencies include:
- Web technologies: JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, web infrastructure (web/app server, load balancing), caching, compression, security, content distribution networks, web usage analytics.
- Java (8 or above) and object-oriented design.
- Relational database design and development (SQL, Sybase).
- Unix bash scripting and/or Python.
- Agile methodology (Scrum).
- DevOps and CI/CD pipeline knowledge.
- Full Adobe suite expertise, particularly AEM 6.4+ and Adobe Analytics.
- Specific web technologies: React, Bootstrap, jQuery, AJAX, Maven, Gradle, REST, Spring Boot.
- Databases: Postgres, Sybase, or SQL Server.
- Version control: Git/Bitbucket.
- Build/CI tools: Jenkins.
- IDE: IntelliJ.
- Cloud experience (AWS or Azure) is required.
