AEM Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced AEM Developer to join our digital experience engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)-based enterprise web applications and digital content solutions.

The role requires strong expertise in Java-based web application development, AEM architecture, component development, integrations, and enterprise content management systems. The candidate should be comfortable working in agile teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders including business teams, architects, QA, DevOps, and support teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Build and customize AEM Components, Templates, Workflows, Dialogs, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments.
• Develop scalable backend services using Java/J2EE technologies, leveraging Sling Framework, OSGi Framework, JCR Repository, and Apache Felix.
• Integrate AEM with third-party systems via REST APIs (JSON/XML) and Web Services.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and support deployment across dev/QA/staging environments using tools like Maven, Git, and CI/CD pipelines on Tomcat/JBoss.

Required Skills

• Mandatory: Strong AEM development experience; Java (J2EE, Servlets); Sling/OSGi frameworks; Hands-on with AEM Sites, Assets, Workflows, Templates & Components.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML, HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Maven, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and application servers (Tomcat, JBoss).

Preferred Skills

• AEM Cloud Service experience; Dispatcher configuration knowledge;
• Adobe Analytics / Target integrations; DevOps/cloud environment exposure;
• Frontend frameworks like React/Angular; Agile/Scrum methodologies.
