Full Job Description
As an AEM Business Analyst based in Pune, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions effectively meet business objectives. This involves defining detailed requirements, optimizing authoring workflows within AEM, and contributing to the successful delivery of scalable and user-friendly digital experiences for our clients.
Key responsibilities in this role include:
- Leading requirement-gathering sessions with both business and technical stakeholders to understand needs and opportunities.
- Translating complex business needs into clear, detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria specifically for AEM implementations.
- Designing and defining AEM templates, components, content models, and workflows to enhance authoring efficiency and user experience.
- Actively managing the product backlog and actively participating in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and backlog grooming.
- Collaborating closely with teams on integrations with analytics platforms, personalization engines, and other critical third-party systems.
- Providing support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), content migration efforts, and author enablement through comprehensive documentation and training materials.
Top Technical Skills Required:
- AEM Sites & Components: Demonstrated hands-on experience in defining page templates, core components, content models, and authoring policies. A strong understanding of AEM concepts like Launches/Live Copy, Multi-Site Manager (MSM), and content fragment strategies is essential.
- AEM Assets (DAM) & Metadata: Proficiency in designing folder structures, metadata schemas, taxonomies, and implementing smart tags and asset governance. Experience with integrating these into authoring workflows and downstream channels is highly valued.
- AEM Workflows & Permissions: Ability to model approval and publishing workflows, define roles and permissions, and establish authoring guardrails. Familiarity with Content/Experience Fragments, translation workflows, and localization best practices is expected.
- Analytics, Tagging & Performance: Collaboration experience with Adobe Analytics/Google Analytics event models, tag governance (e.g., Adobe Launch/Tag Manager), and measurement plans. Understanding of page performance and Core Web Vitals is important.
- Integration & Release Readiness: Partnering with architects and engineers on APIs, search solutions, personalization/CDP, and CRM integrations. Skill in writing testable user stories and acceptance criteria, along with UAT planning and execution, is crucial.
