Advisory Firmware Engineer

About the Role

Lenovo ISG is seeking UEFI engineers with 9-16 years of experience for next-generation server products. You will work closely with internal teams to own all UEFI/BIOS related tasks across planning, development, and validation phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for x86 and ARM server UEFI/BIOS development, including feature creation and bug fixing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design new product features into next-generation platforms.
• Partner with end-customers and stakeholders to understand requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or similar field.
• Strong server UEFI/BIOS development experience (9-16 years).
• Advanced C coding skills and deep knowledge of processor architectures and OS internals.
• Expertise in areas like SMBIOS, Boot Loaders, PCIe, Secure Boot, System Performance, etc.
• Excellent debugging skills with hands-on experience using professional debugging tools.
• Strong communication abilities for multi-functional team collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff and provide technical advice in your domain of specialization.
