Full Job Description
As an Advanced Data Science Associate at Zscaler, you will be instrumental in developing cutting-edge, statistically robust algorithms to tackle high-dimensional challenges. You will leverage your expertise in hypothesis testing, machine learning, and retrieval processes to apply statistical and data mining techniques, uncovering trends, generating insights, and analyzing critical information. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders at Zscaler to effectively integrate and communicate your analytical findings. Furthermore, you will contribute to the evaluation of emerging datasets and technologies that shape our analytical platform.
What you'll bring:
- A Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- A strong academic record showcasing a focus on analysis and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in big data concepts, advanced analytical techniques, and algorithms such as text mining, social listening, recommender systems, and predictive modeling.
- Fluency in at least one programming language, including Java, Python, or R.
- Hands-on experience with tools and platforms like the Hadoop ecosystem, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or database systems.
- Excellent command of the English language.
