Advanced Data Analyst

Airbus is seeking an Advanced Data Analyst with a focus on Configuration Management to join their team in Bengaluru/Bangalore, India. This role is crucial for driving data-driven approaches to enhance Configuration Management (CM) for all aircraft programs. The ideal candidate will possess an innovative mindset, be adept at connecting with people, collating data, and collaborating across functions to deliver solutions for diverse CM requirements.

The position is within the Airbus India CM Team, working closely with IZCBI, the Configuration Management-Centre of Competence. The IZCBI team comprises 8 individuals across France, Germany, Spain, and India, responsible for developing data analytic toolsets for aircraft reallocation, configuration analysis, and impact simulation. They also create and industrialize rapid data analysis reports for CM processes, support over 600 reports including for A400M, and conceptualize/develop CM data products. The team is also involved in preparing for next-gen CM operations through the CM Master Plan, supporting Lean PLM activities, and DDMS. Furthermore, they build prototypes for new ideas leveraging Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Reinforced Learning, Rule-based Inference Engines, Knowledge Graphs, and Ontology. Stakeholder management and collaboration are key for digitalization initiatives aiming for harmonization and rationalization.

Specific responsibilities include acting as a liaison between IT solutions and business end-users across all aircraft programs to assess requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports. This involves working with IT solutions deployed in SQL environments and Airbus's Big Data platform, Skywise, or other analytic platforms like Tibco Spotfire. You will support the delivery of Data Analytics Reports and dashboards, collaborate with industrialization partners, and propose new ideas to derive insights from aircraft configuration data and visualize impacts. Rapid response to user feedback and managing productive stakeholder relationships are essential.

Required qualifications include strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PySpark, and SQL. Advanced hands-on experience with Skywise technologies for data preparation and visualization is highly desirable (2 years preferred). A good understanding of Big Data platforms like Hadoop and Spark, and Graph technologies like Neo4j is needed. Basic knowledge of Cloud Services, such as Amazon Web Services, is also expected. Desirable skills include in-depth knowledge of overall Configuration Management, with a specific background in Configuration Steering (MOD/MP stack, CIN stack, Effectivities Calculation).
