About The Role

We are hiring AEM engineers for a multi-year digital transformation at a major enterprise client. You will work on AEM as Cloud Service (AEMaaCS), handling Sites, Assets, and Forms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mission: Greenfield development alongside migration off legacy systems (including AEM6.x, WordPress).
• Budget & Impact: Real budget and real users with no babysitting.

The Engagement Details

• Type: Multi-property AEM as Cloud Service implementation replacing incumbent agency systems (14+ years).
• Migrations: Migration from legacy CMS platforms including WordPress, Prismic, and BigCommerce.
• Tech Stack Integration: Adobe Target, GA4, Segment, Amplitude, Coveo search, and Azure-based translation tooling.

The Role Levels (Open to both)

You will architect, build, and ship AEM solutions. The level you apply for depends on your demonstrated depth:

• Mid-Level (3–5 years): Build production components, write clean Sling models. You don't need supervision.
• Senior Level (6+ years): Own architecture calls. Experience migrating platforms from non-Adobe CMSes. Mentor teams and push back on client architects effectively.

Tech Stack & Skills Required:

• AEM Core: Sites, Assets (DAM), Forms, Authoring workflows, Asset taxonomies, Adaptive forms.
• Java Development: Strong Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR, HTL (Sightly).
• DevOps & Build: Maven, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Cloud Manager.
• Front-End: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript. React is a plus.
• Caching Strategy: Dispatcher configs, CDN rules, and caching strategy implementation.
