Senior Adobe CDP Developer - Virtusa in Pune, India

Virtusa is seeking a Senior Developer with extensive hands-on expertise in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Real-Time Customer Data Platform (RTCDP). This pivotal role involves designing and building robust customer data pipelines, defining identity strategies, developing sophisticated segmentation logic, and implementing effective activation workflows. You will collaborate closely with data engineering, marketing, and product teams to deliver advanced real-time personalization capabilities for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and construct XDM schemas, identity strategies, merge policies, and governance labels to ensure data consistency and compliance.
• Implement both batch and streaming data ingestion processes utilizing AEP Sources & Dataflows.
• Configure and optimize Real-Time Customer Profile, sophisticated audience segments, and diverse data destinations.
• Deploy and troubleshoot AEP Web/Mobile SDKs and Adobe Edge Network integrations to capture and leverage customer data effectively.
• Leverage the Query Service for data validation, profile analysis, SQL checks, and deriving audience insights.
• Implement comprehensive consent management, data usage labels, and ensure adherence to data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Maintain high data quality standards through proactive monitoring and robust error handling across all ingestion and activation flows.
• Partner with Martech and Data teams to support real-time activation, Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) journeys, and various personalization use cases.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and contribute to agile delivery processes.

Must-Have Skills

• Significant hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (RTCDP).
• Proficiency in XDM schema creation, identity/graph modelling, and merge policies.
• Expertise in Segment Builder (batch & edge) and profile validation techniques.
• Experience configuring and managing Destinations (advertising, cloud, webhooks).
• Proven ability in AEP SDK & Edge Network implementation.
• Familiarity with Adobe Tags/Launch, JavaScript, SQL, and APIs.
• Solid understanding of PII handling, data governance, and consent frameworks.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) or Customer Journey Analytics (CJA).
• Exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka, or cloud storage solutions.
• Knowledge of CI/CD automation for AEP configurations.
• Understanding of Adobe Target or AEM data layers.
• Prior experience working within the BFSI domain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering at least 1-2 enterprise RTCDP implementations.
