Account Manager

Equator, a global packaging design agency and a division of Marks, is seeking a motivated Account Manager to join our dynamic team in Cincinnati, OH. This pivotal role focuses on cultivating long-term client relationships by driving strategic brand building and impactful packaging design initiatives. You will be instrumental in supporting cross-functional teams, expertly managing client expectations, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects from conception to completion. Dive into exciting, fast-paced projects within our extensive client portfolio. Service clients by meticulously understanding their needs, ensuring timely and profitable project returns, and effectively managing expectations. Continuously review projects to ensure adherence to approved scopes and proactively guard against scope creep. Support new projects by contributing to proposal development, applying strategic thinking to brand opportunities, generating innovative ideas and solutions, and crafting compelling capability presentations. Lead administrative project processes with precision, including documentation and expert utilization of our project management tools. Identify and capitalize on opportunities within innovation, strategy, research, and adaptive design for your clients. Confidently lead status meetings, prepare agendas, and disseminate comprehensive conference reports. Provide strategic critiques and quality checks on all design work, ensuring the highest standards of excellence, error-free execution, and alignment with client feedback. Actively participate in project kick-offs, brainstorming sessions, and client meetings to facilitate seamless project workflows among team members. Collaborate with GAD/ADs to write clear creative briefs, defining design objectives and intent, and ensure delivered designs precisely match approved briefs. Analyze project needs to identify necessary internal and external resources for successful project outcomes.
