Role Description: Accordion is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with extensive experience in Database, Data Warehouse, and Business Intelligence technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of these technology stacks. A deep understanding of various tools and technologies within this domain is essential to design and implement scalable, robust solutions that efficiently meet client requirements. The Senior Data Engineer will assess different architectures and recommend the optimal fit for specific project use cases. Strong business acumen, familiarity with diverse tools and techniques, and adherence to industry best practices in BI and Data Warehousing are crucial. Excellent organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly understand business requirements to design and develop BI architectures.
• Identify and implement Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing solutions that align with business needs.
• Perform data warehouse design and modeling adhering to established standards.
• Collaborate with business teams to define methodologies for developing KPIs and Metrics.
• Partner with Project Managers to develop and execute project plans within schedule and timeline constraints.
• Develop standard reports and functional dashboards based on specified business requirements.
• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of high-quality reports.
• Conduct training programs and knowledge transfer sessions for junior developers.
• Recommend improvements for optimized reporting solutions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Undergraduate degree (B.E./B.Tech.) from a Tier-1 or Tier-2 college is preferred.
• 2-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven expertise in MSBI Suite (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).
• In-depth knowledge of databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle.
• In-depth knowledge of data warehouses including Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, and Snowflake.
• Proficiency in at least one business intelligence tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, DOMO, Looker).
• Good understanding of Azure services (Data Factory & Pipelines, SQL Database & Managed Instances, DevOps, Logic Apps, Analysis Services) and AWS services (Glue, Aurora Database, Dynamo Database, Redshift, QuickSight).
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive innovation.
• Possess a strong analytical mindset and a problem-solving attitude.
