About Innovative Adaptation Services
Within SAP, our Innovative Adaptation Services team plays a crucial role in enabling the adoption, maintenance, operation, and continuous innovation of Customer Innovation and Maintenance (CIM) products and solutions. We provide end-to-end ownership and accountability, collaborating closely with Application Innovation Services and Innovation Engineering to bridge customer-specific solutions and niche products, ensuring alignment with SAP's high maintenance and support standards.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As an ABAP Developer, you will be instrumental in developing high-quality software solutions that meet complex business requirements. You will provide exceptional support to SAP customers by gaining deep expertise in assigned projects and resolving customer messages at the Development Support level.
- Develop software according to specified requirements with a strong focus on quality.
- Provide high-quality support to SAP customers through deep product and project expertise.
- Resolve customer messages at the Development Support level.
- Ensure the quality of corrections and support packages.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Execute upgrade projects for customers, adapting solutions to newer software releases.
- Contribute to a growing team, taking on responsibilities such as leading solutions and coaching team members.
- Collaborate effectively with internal SAP teams, external partners, and customer teams to ensure successful project completion.
- Analyze, debug errors/issues, and resolve customer messages.
- Provide high-level overall solution design for small and medium projects.
- Interact with business users to understand requirements and propose technical solutions.
- Share responsibility for solution quality with architects and project managers.
- Support sales teams in deal shaping through evaluations, estimations, and participation in the presales cycle for custom development.
- Engage with IAS team members, SAP development teams, external partners, and customer teams for project success.
- Gain hands-on experience in software development, implementation projects, or product maintenance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technology (B.Tech/M.Tech) or Computer Applications (MCA) with an aggregate score of 65% or above.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in product design, development, and maintenance with a strong customer focus.
- Proficient technical and development skills in ABAP OO.
- Desirable skills in SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), SAP CRM, SAP UI5, or SAP BW.
- Knowledge of SAP enterprise solutions (ERP / SRM / CRM) is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in executing geographically distributed projects and working with diverse teams.
- Prior experience working with SAP technology is required.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
