AB Initio Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled AB Initio Software Engineer to join our esteemed data engineering team in Gurugram. In this pivotal role, you will design, develop, and maintain complex ETL processes using the AB Initio suite, including GDE, EME, and Conduct>IT, to ensure accurate and efficient data movement for analysis and reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and implementing high-performance data integration graphs and plans.
• Optimizing AB Initio processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Working with various data sources (files, databases, APIs) and formats (XML, JSON, flat files).
• Collaborating with data architects and analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshooting technical issues in ETL processes and adhering to best practices for code development, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; 3-5 years of hands-on AB Initio experience; proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Preferred: Experience with ETL tools, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), scripting (Python), and data governance principles.
