Job Summary: Seeking a highly skilled Ab Initio Developer to join our esteemed data engineering team in Chennai. In this pivotal role, you will design, develop, and maintain complex ETL solutions using the Apache Ab Initio platform. Your responsibilities will include building optimized data pipelines, collaborating with data analysts and business stakeholders to define data requirements, and ensuring data quality and integrity. This role is ideal for a passionate data professional with expertise in data engineering and ETL best practices, aiming to deliver high-performance and scalable data solutions.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    - Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Ab Initio (GDE, Conduct>It, EME).
    - Build and optimize Ab Initio graphs for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
    - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements.
    - Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in data pipelines.
    - Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the ETL lifecycle.
    - Maintain and improve existing ETL solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Ab Initio development.
- Deep expertise in Ab Initio platform, including GDE, Conduct>It, and EME.
- Strong experience with SQL and database technologies (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server).
- Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Ab Initio Express>It.
- Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
- Integration experience with other data tools.
