1st Class Boiler Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boiler, compressor, water lines, steam lines, valves, and all related systems to ensure efficient plant operations.
• Ensure a continuous and regular supply of input material or fuel for uninterrupted boiler operation in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.
• Operate boilers at optimal efficiency to meet plant requirements.
• Monitor safety equipment, identify potential issues, and take corrective actions, including suspending operations when necessary, adhering to Navi Mumbai safety standards.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and adjustments to ensure the continuous operation of mechanical systems in the Taloja facility.
• Inspect steam lines across the plant and promptly address and arrest any leakage.
• Conduct frequent inspection checks and regular maintenance on boilers, valves, gauges, piping, and related equipment.
• Record daily gas readings, feed water tests, and other operational test results accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of boiler rooms, related facilities, and work areas in Navi Mumbai.
• Possess firefighting skills and remain prepared to respond to fire emergencies in and around the Taloja industrial area.
• Stay updated on technological developments in boiler operations and recommend overhauls or upgrades as needed.
• Keep current with applicable safety laws and regulations to ensure full compliance for a safe working environment.
