About the Role

We are seeking a Backend Engineer for LINE Platform to develop the messaging infrastructure that processes hundreds of billions of messages daily. This critical role directly impacts user experience globally, collaborating across multiple teams to solve high-difficulty scalability challenges and provide robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing server-side functions and internal APIs for LINE's massive-scale messaging platform.
• Implementing resilient data structures focused on distributed processing, fault tolerance, and scalability (NoSQL/Event Stores).
• Cross-departmental collaboration to enhance reliability, observability, and system architecture evolution.
• Driving continuous improvement in CI/CD workflows, test coverage, and system monitoring.
• Contributing to long-term architectural strategy and platform security best practices.
