Full Job Description
WHOOP is at the forefront of enhancing human performance and promoting longer, healthier lives (healthspan). We are actively seeking a dynamic WHOOP Live Producer to spearhead the development and execution of our live broadcast initiatives. This pivotal role involves defining the strategic vision for 'WHOOP Live', aiming to significantly elevate storytelling and audience engagement across the sports and entertainment sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the execution of WHOOP Live biometric broadcast experiences across global events, live streams, and digital platforms.
- Identify, develop, negotiate, and manage new broadcast integrations, partnerships, and growth opportunities that strategically enhance WHOOP Live within the broader WHOOP marketing framework, in close collaboration with the Brand Media and Sports & Talent Marketing teams.
- Act as the primary liaison for key technical partners and third-party agencies, ensuring seamless alignment in creative, technical, and operational delivery.
- Oversee on-air integrations, commentator onboarding and support, production crews, and technology vendors to guarantee high-quality, uninterrupted execution.
- Collaborate with broadcast production partners to craft and deliver compelling data narratives that support the WHOOP Live analytics strategy, effectively translating biometric insights into engaging audience stories.
- Lead creative ideation and production of live graphics, storytelling elements, and real-time data visualization strategies for broadcast, production, and social media channels.
- Serve as the central point of communication between marketing, hardware, and software teams to ensure WHOOP Live product strategy is in sync with company-wide brand and product objectives.
- Partner with the Sports & Talent (S+T) team on athlete onboarding, data integrations, and identifying compelling WHOOP Live storytelling opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to WHOOP marketing systems and processes (e.g., monday.com, Trello) to maintain standardized project management and visibility.
- Work closely with the Analytics team to critically evaluate and report on the performance impact of WHOOP Live, generating insights to optimize future initiatives.
Requirements:
- 6–8+ years of experience in live broadcast production, experiential marketing, sports media, or related fields, with a demonstrated history of leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Proven ability to lead live or real-time broadcast productions for global events, live streams, or digital platforms, ideally within sports, entertainment, or performance-centric industries.
- Strong background in developing and managing broadcast integrations, partnerships, and vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and fostering long-term growth.
- In-depth knowledge of live production workflows, on-air integrations, graphics packages, data visualization, and real-time storytelling for broadcast and social media.
