Web Developer Role at Accenture in Pune
Accenture is seeking a skilled Web Developer for their Pune office. This role involves the design, development, and testing of web-based applications and site content. You will be responsible for documenting technical designs, researching and incorporating updated content for websites, and ensuring the effective implementation of web solutions.
About the Role
As a ServiceNow Support & Developer (Infra Tech Support Practitioner), you will be instrumental in the end-to-end support, administration, and development of the ServiceNow platform. Your responsibilities will encompass incident and request management, platform maintenance, workflow development, and module customization. You will collaborate across IT infrastructure layers to provide L1/L2 support, implement ITSM processes, and drive automation and efficiency enhancements. This position requires a robust understanding of the ServiceNow platform, infrastructure knowledge, and hands-on development capabilities within a structured IT operating model.
Roles & Responsibilities
ServiceNow Support & Administration:
- Provide L1 and L2 technical support for ServiceNow incidents, service requests, and platform issues.
- Manage the daily operations of ServiceNow ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request management.
- Oversee platform administration tasks such as user/group management, role assignments, and access control.
- Monitor the performance, usage, and health of the ServiceNow instance.
ServiceNow Development:
- Design and develop custom workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and catalog items.
- Build and maintain automation solutions for ITSM processes using ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript).
- Implement custom integrations leveraging REST/SOAP APIs and MID Server, as needed.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance analytics to track key ITSM metrics.
Process & Documentation:
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of ITSM processes and platform enhancements.
- Maintain and update system and solution documentation.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release management activities within Agile/ITIL frameworks.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration with various technical and business teams.
Professional & Technical Skills
Core ServiceNow Skills:
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow administration and development.
- Strong knowledge of ITSM modules (Incident, Change, Problem, Request).
- Proficiency in client/server scripting (JavaScript, Glide API).
- Experience in developing catalog items, workflows, notifications, and integrations.
- Familiarity with Scoped Applications, Update Sets, and Application Lifecycle Management.
Other Technical Competencies:
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau is beneficial.
- A good understanding of ITIL frameworks and service operations.
- Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations in ServiceNow is preferred.
- Basic scripting/automation skills beyond ServiceNow (e.g., PowerShell, Python) are a plus.
Additional Information
