Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily performance, issue resolution, and enhancement lifecycle for all third-party technology platforms that support wealth management operations, with a focus on achieving high levels of field and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with the PAS strategy team to co-own and manage relationships with third-party platform vendors. This includes fostering collaborative environments to maximize value, coordinating integrations, and negotiating contracts and service level agreements.
• Manage the complete end-to-end process for platform enhancements, from initial requirement gathering and prioritization through to rollout and adoption. This involves ensuring clear communication of timelines, anticipated benefits, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Lead or actively support requests for proposals (RFPs), vendor evaluations, and the definition of business requirements to ensure the selection and ongoing management of best-in-class technology solutions.
• Effectively communicate technology updates, enhancements, and strategic initiatives to both the field force and executive leadership. Utilize various channels such as Field Advisory Board meetings, Executive Committee presentations, written communications, attendance at advisor conferences, and participation in in-person agency meetings.
• Maintain a forward-looking perspective by staying abreast of current industry trends, market leaders, and emerging technologies specifically relevant to wealth management platforms.
• Proactively gather and synthesize feedback from field representatives and clients, ensuring these insights are integrated into the technology strategy and applied to ongoing platform improvements.
• Cultivate robust relationships with internal stakeholders, field leaders, executive teams, and cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and secure support for technology initiatives.
• Establish transparent processes for the evaluation, prioritization, and communication of technology enhancement requests, adeptly balancing immediate field needs with long-term strategic objectives.
• Lead change management efforts associated with technology enhancements, working collaboratively with internal training teams to develop comprehensive home office training, documentation, and support structures to drive successful adoption and minimize disruption.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in technology leadership roles within the wealth management industry is required. This experience must include direct responsibility for managing technology platforms, fostering vendor partnerships, and delivering cross-functional projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in wealth management technology platforms, including hands-on experience managing third-party solutions and nurturing vendor relationships.
• Strong capabilities in strategic thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving, with a proven track record of delivering technology initiatives that positively impact business outcomes.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with extensive experience engaging both executive leadership and field teams effectively.
• Proven ability to build consensus, manage competing priorities, and lead cross-functional teams through periods of change.
• Familiarity with RFP processes, contract negotiations, and adherence to industry best practices in technology procurement and implementation.
