Qualifications
Experience Level: Entry Level
- High School Diploma or GED - Required
- 6 months clinical ultrasound experience (inclusive of education) - Required
- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) eligible. Includes passing SPI exam (Sonography Principles and Instrumentation Exam) or ARRT Sonography certification. - Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification at the time of hire - Required
- If ARRT when hired, ARDMS SPI credentialed 180 Days - Required
- RDMS or RVT credentialed. This includes passing one of the following exams: Abdomen, Breast, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatric Sonography, Vascular Technology 1 Year or 18 months if hired with ARRT - Required

As a Lead Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures. Your responsibilities will include performing a wide range of examinations such as abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout. You will also be instrumental in maintaining equipment in optimal working condition, performing quality control testing, and coordinating daily departmental workflow. This role involves assisting physicians, participating in staff training and orientation, and maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked work environment.
