Overview

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our quality engineering team in Chennai. This role focuses on ensuring product quality through manual and automation testing, leveraging modern testing tools and AI-driven approaches to improve testing efficiency and coverage. The ideal candidate will contribute to delivering reliable and high-performing applications through robust testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases to validate application functionality.
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright or Cypress.
• Create comprehensive test strategies and test plans aligned with project requirements.
• Identify, document, and verify bug fixes through structured testing processes.
• Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks and codebases.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve overall product quality.
• Utilize AI-based testing tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Support integration of testing processes within CI/CD pipelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 1 to 4 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance roles.
• Strong experience in test case design and execution.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright (preferred) or Cypress automation frameworks.
• Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman and REST clients.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of browser developer tools for debugging and analysis.
• Experience with Git and integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Good to Have

• Experience in load and performance testing using tools such as k6 or JMeter.
• Ability to design load testing scenarios and analyze performance results.
• Experience in performance reporting and optimization recommendations.
• Exposure to AI-powered testing tools and AI-driven test generation techniques.
