Full Job Description

Gates Corporation, a leader in fluid power and power transmission solutions, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Territory Sales Manager to spearhead sales efforts across Michigan, USA. This role is crucial for driving the sales of Gates products, cultivating strong relationships with existing clientele, and identifying new business opportunities within the territory. You will be instrumental in achieving significant sales targets and expanding Gates' market presence.

Key responsibilities include developing strategic account plans to increase product and service sales, ensuring seamless internal and external communication, and building trust by promptly addressing customer needs and concerns. The ideal candidate will implement effective sales strategies to accelerate growth for all Gates products in both established and emerging markets, while actively monitoring the competitive landscape to develop effective countermeasures. This position also involves hands-on product changeovers and new product setups at customer locations, requiring a keen understanding of industry trends and technical developments impacting target markets.

This is a full-time, onsite position based out of a home office, requiring 50%-70% travel within the Michigan territory. While most nights are spent at home, approximately 15%-20% of travel may involve overnight stays. A passion for or a strong willingness to learn about the automotive industry is highly valued.
