Full Job Description

Join JPMorgan Chase's Payments Technology Team as a Technology Support II, focusing on Embedded Finance. This role is critical for ensuring the operational stability and peak performance of our production application flows. You will play a key part in incident management and the implementation of best practices for our vital payment systems, contributing to seamless business operations across the firm. Your responsibilities include collaborating with partner teams to define and maintain Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Indicators (SLIs), proactively resolving issues before they impact customers. You will manage daily incidents, conduct root cause analyses (RCAs), and oversee change events through monitoring and alerting. We require support for system maintenance to guarantee operational stability and availability, actively monitoring production environments for anomalies using standard observability tools. Developing and maintaining alerting mechanisms to promptly detect and respond to incidents is essential, alongside collaborating with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime. You will also design and implement Datadog instrumentation strategies for comprehensive application and infrastructure monitoring. Identifying issues for escalation, communicating effectively, and providing solutions to business and technology stakeholders are key. This role demands the ability to analyze complex trends, anticipate problems, and solve issues across full-stack technology systems, applications, and infrastructure. Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with diverse, global teams are crucial, as is the ability to multitask and adapt to complex requirements.
