Technical Support Representative-Security Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Representative with a specialization in Security Analysis to join our team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be instrumental in the administration and management of critical load balancing technologies, including F5 and Radware. Your responsibilities will encompass the full lifecycle of configuration, from initial creation and modification of rules to system upgrades.

You will be the go-to expert for escalated calls, providing Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for these advanced technologies. A key part of your role will involve onboarding new applications onto load balancers, SSLO, and WAF solutions, and expertly handling any critical issues that arise.

As the single point of contact for these essential technologies, you will also be responsible for robust incident management, ensuring timely identification and escalation of issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage load balancers (e.g., F5, Radware) and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
• Perform complete administration, including creation, modification of rules, configuration, and system upgrades.
• Handle escalated calls and provide SME support on load balancer and WAF technologies.
• Onboard new applications onto load balancers, SSLO, and WAF.
• Manage critical issues related to these security technologies.
• Act as the single point of contact for F5, Radware, SSLO, and WAF.
• Execute incident management and ensure timely escalation.
• Assist in the creation of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports with Level 3 engineers.
• Perform performance tuning of load balancers, WAF, and firewall network security devices.
• Work on assigned tickets within agreed timelines and SLAs, adhering strictly to ITIL processes.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of web technologies and concepts.

Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education: Master's Degree

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• Minimum of 3 years of industry experience managing various load balancers such as F5, Radware, etc.
• Working experience with WAF is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in performance tuning of network security devices.
• Strong understanding and adherence to ITIL processes.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

• Intuitive individual with strong change management and time management skills.
• Proven interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
• Commitment to staying current with technical knowledge.
• One or more security certifications (e.g., CEH, Security+, GSEC, GCIH, OEM Certification Cisco, F5, Imperva) is highly desirable.
