Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge of structural design and mechanical integration/test, including exposure to developmental design in laboratory or flight-test environments
- Proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD) tools used for mechanical modeling, drafting, and documentation
- Experience or expertise in one or more of the following: (1) Cable and interconnect design, fabrication, troubleshooting (2) Mechanical component design and drafting (3) Systems test and verification (4) Data analysis (5) Technical data packaging (6) Structural stress analysis
- Strong communication skills relaying analytical and technical information to stakeholders
- Ability to obtain Security Clearance
- 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field of study
- 3 years of related experience with a Masters' degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field of study
- 0 years of related experience with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field of study
- Due to our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be U.S. Citizens
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance
