Weaver Consultants Group is seeking a motivated Staff Geologist/Environmental Engineer to join our team in Irvine, California. This entry-to-intermediate level position offers a dynamic blend of field and office work, focusing on essential environmental services. You will play a key role in conducting critical environmental field investigations, supporting comprehensive report preparation, and overseeing a variety of environmental projects. Responsibilities include performing ASTM Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), managing soil boring and monitoring well installations, and executing detailed sampling for soil, groundwater, indoor air, and soil gas. You will also be involved in remediation oversight and confirmation sampling, analyzing laboratory data for report writing, creating groundwater elevation contour maps and geologic cross-sections, and performing statistical evaluations of environmental monitoring data. This role requires a commitment to health and safety, a willingness to work in various outdoor conditions and at industrial sites, and the ability to travel throughout California, sometimes on short notice.
