About the Role
Qualcomm is seeking a STA Engineer to join their Hardware Engineering team in India. This role involves planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of Hardware Engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD.
Key Responsibilities
- Static timing analysis
- Constraints and physical implementation
- Use of industry-standard tools (PT, Tempus, GENUS, Innovus, ICC)
- Solving critical timing bottlenecks
- Preparing ECOs for timing convergence
- Minimizing power consumption
Experience in deep submicron process technology nodes and knowledge of high-performance and low-power implementation methods is preferred. Expertise in Perl and TCL is required. Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
