About the Job
As a Senior Staff Engineer specializing in oral solid dose (OSD) equipment, you will collaborate with and assist 6 facilities dedicated to solid oral dosages. We seek a professional with in-depth knowledge of OSD manufacturing equipment. You'll provide equipment recommendations, troubleshoot equipment, assess asset lifecycles, and support new equipment startups. You will support commercial operations, including root cause analysis and problem-solving. Removing roadblocks and driving efficiency in operations, maintenance, and capital projects is key. You will work with sites to ensure capital project execution, and oversight for major investments aligning with business plans. This role is a key partner, growing consistency in the OSD network. You will collaborate with Quality, IT, Supply Chain, and Sustainability teams, ensuring Capital, Engineering, and Maintenance teams follow policies, master planning, shutdown planning, and company commitments. Qualifications And Requirements
Education
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field. Masters Degree is desirable.
Experience
10+ years experience in Engineering with a consistent track record. Specific knowledge and experience with Oral Solid Dose Pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Knowledge of granulation, Compaction, Encapsulation, Coating equipment and Processes. Knowledge of Pharmacuetial regulatory requirements. Outstanding leadership and management skills. Ability to implement global standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in leading teams and/or initiatives is a plus. Self-directed with strong partner development skills. Ability to lead and influence in a matrix and global environment. Consistent in delivering results.
