Sr. Software Engineer

About the Job:

The Sr. Software Engineer will compile and analyze data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement. This role involves designing and developing back-end applications, ensuring responsiveness and performance. The engineer will collaborate with front-end developers and team members to create functional and cohesive code for an enhanced user experience. Responsibilities also include developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by staying current with industry trends. Fluency in languages like Java and Python, and familiarity with operating systems may be required. Essential requirements include expertise in Core Java application design and development, experience with standard Java development tools (IDEs, build frameworks, source code control, Jira, and ALM tools). The ideal candidate possesses 6+ years of proven hands-on Java programming experience, strong programming and problem-solving skills, with a focus on writing efficient algorithms for large datasets. Experience building web applications using J2EE technologies and frameworks like Spring is necessary, along with building and consuming RESTful/SOAP web services. Experience working on high-volume applications is also required.
