Qualifications
Experience Level: Senior Level
- Strong quantitative, analytical and data interpretation skills with a solid foundation of mathematics, probability, and statistics
- Ability to identify and understand business issues and map these issues into quantitative questions
- Advanced knowledge and demonstrated understanding of applied methodologies including least squares regression, logistic regression, sampling methodologies, time series, survival analysis, cluster analysis, categorical data analysis, decision trees, multivariate methodologies, non-parametric techniques, principal components, and linear programming techniques
- Advanced skills in Python, SAS, SQL, R, JMP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Ability to design and implement model documentation and monitoring protocols
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with technical systems, datasets, data warehouses, and data analysis techniques
- Efficiently work with large datasets
- Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to Data Scientists I and II
- Strong written and verbal presentation skills with an ability to communicate effectively with Senior Management by making complex concepts easy to understand
- Ability to be curious, ask questions, explore, and be creative when analyzing data and business problems

This role involves developing and maintaining predictive models, conducting complex data analysis, and presenting findings to support business decision-making. You will provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to junior Data Scientists, perform research and analysis on organizational data, and assist in analyzing key metrics. Building technical knowledge in advanced techniques and algorithms is crucial. You will conduct research projects from design to recommendation, developing and applying algorithms to improve operations and answer business questions. Presenting findings to leadership and ensuring delivered products meet business needs are key responsibilities. You will partner with business leadership, providing recommendations on analytics application and communicating complex concepts effectively. The ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment is essential.
