Software Engineer - Full Stack Developer at Optum, Noida
Optum is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. You will play a crucial role in building and enhancing scalable web applications that directly improve health outcomes for millions.
We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience in Angular, .NET Core, and SQL Server. Strong knowledge of code quality, modern DevOps workflows, and experience with Azure and GitHub for CI/CD are essential.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Angular (front-end) and .NET Core (back-end services). Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices. Write and optimize scalable SQL queries and stored procedures in SQL Server. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Code Quality & Best Practices: Ensure high code quality through clean coding standards, code reviews, and unit testing. Refactor and optimize existing code for performance and maintainability. Adhere to software engineering best practices including SOLID principles, design patterns, and secure coding.
- DevOps & Cloud Deployment: Work with DevOps teams on continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Utilize GitHub for version control, branching strategies, pull requests, and repository management. Deploy and monitor applications using Microsoft Azure services (Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage) and GitHub Actions.
- Compliance: Adhere to employment contracts, company policies, and directives, including flexibility in work arrangements and response to business environment changes.
Required Qualifications:
- Technical Skills:
- Front-End: Angular 10+ (Components, Services, RxJS, State Management)
- Back-End: .NET Core (Web APIs, Middleware, Dependency Injection)
- Database: SQL Server (Views, Joins, Stored Procedures, Indexing, Query Optimization)
- DevOps: GitHub Actions, CI/CD, release management
- Cloud: Hands-on experience with Azure deployment and Azure App Services
- Version Control: Git & GitHub (branching, pull requests, code reviews)
- Solid understanding of RESTful architectures and microservices
- Soft Skills:
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent team collaboration and communication
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, Agile environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Docker or container-based deployments
- Experience with performance tuning and application optimization
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps Boards or Jira
- Familiarity with automated testing and quality gates such as SonarQube
