Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions.
• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other Engineering teams.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Actively participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Ensure adherence to security, reliability, and best engineering practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2–5 years of professional software development experience (flexibility based on specific role level).
• Strong proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, Node.js, or PHP.
• Demonstrable experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Understanding of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with Git and modern software development workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Prior experience building scalable SaaS or EdTech platforms.
• A strong understanding of system design and performance optimization principles.
