Software Engineer II

Responsibilities:

• Execute standard software solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
• Write secure, high-quality code in at least one programming language with minimal guidance.
• Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot applications, considering upstream and downstream system implications.
• Leverage Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools to enhance automation and value realization.
• Apply technical troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical problems.
• Analyze large, diverse datasets to identify issues and contribute to decision-making for secure, stable application development.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 2+ years of applied experience.
• Proficiency in developing web applications using Angular.
• Experience with state management frameworks such as Redux or Flux.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a knack for developing creative, efficient solutions and providing team leadership.
• Ability to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Expertise in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap, SASS, and Google Analytics.
• Experience building responsive applications with frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.
• Familiarity with code quality tools such as LINT or SonarQube.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) implementation using Jasmine, Karma, or Jest.
• Proficiency with build tools like Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack.
• Conceptual understanding of server-side JavaScript (Node.js) and database systems (e.g., MongoDB).
• Experience with web services integration using AJAX and knowledge of REST concepts.
