About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer in Bengaluru, India to participate in the full system development lifecycle of applications related to document processing, printing, and delivery. The role supports high-volume statement applications across various platforms (Linux, Windows, and mainframe).

You will work with diverse Lines of Business to understand requirements and architect solutions. Strong SDLC and Agile experience are crucial, ensuring compliance with Wells Fargo Technology SDLC standards. This position demands flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of software engineering experience.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate, JPA and Angular/React
• Knowledge of application development and implementation
• Knowledge on SQL Server Database design and development including performance analysis and tuning
• Experience with Kafka (analysis, design, consumer/producer development, topic management, load balancing, logging, and security)
• Knowledge on batch scripts, power shell scripts.
• Experience with Stored procedures, complex SQL queries, SSIS and some management concepts in MSSQL.
• Hands-on writing unit test cases using JUNIT and Karate.
• Knowledge of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle)
• Exposure in applying patches to Unix/Linux platform
• Experience in using GIt, Jenkins and Udeploy or similar tools for build and deployment process
• Knowledge on Problem management or change management applications like ServiceNow or JIRA
• Experience in Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
• Experience on RESTful or SOAP Web Services
• Knowledge of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Angular JS)

Job Expectations:

• Support all aspects of application development: requirement discussion, architecture, design, development, maintenance, testing, debugging, implementation, and application support.
• Participate in documentation creation (project, application, architecture, functional/technical design).
• Develop APIs/Microservices for Print Delivery applications and integrate with other functionalities.
• Handle API and messaging integration (gateway).
• Manage source control, branching, build, and release management.
• Conduct application peer code reviews.
• Resolve production issues (level 1/2 support).
• Participate in BCP / Disaster Recovery exercises.
• Provide night and weekend support for code releases.
• Deploy code across multiple environments.
• Maintain and create Autosys scheduling for application batch jobs.
• Develop and maintain system documentation.
• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned tasks.
