Role Overview: Software Development Engineer I (Full Stack)

We are seeking a proactive Software Development Engineer I with expertise in full-stack development. This role offers the opportunity to own development initiatives from concept to production, collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to launch impactful features in a dynamic and learning-focused environment. This position is eligible for hire in India and supports a hybrid/remote work model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable systems and applications with agility.
• Take end-to-end ownership of tasks, from development through to production deployment.
• Contribute significantly to the design, implementation, and launch of core product features.
• Engage in continuous learning and stay updated with the latest frontend technological advancements.
• Participate actively in code reviews and foster strong collaboration within cross-functional teams.
• Drive engineering best practices and continuous improvements.
• Create prototypes and proofs-of-concept to support iterative development cycles.

Qualifications:

• 1-4 years of professional software development experience, specifically with scalable full-stack applications.
• Proven experience in building stable and high-performance software at scale.
• Strong proficiency in Vanilla JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, DOM manipulation, HTML parsing, and NodeJS.
• Experience in ensuring the quality of developed features, including contributions to automation.
• Effective communication skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability in aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving.
• Possession of a startup mentality and a strong willingness to learn with a growth mindset.
• Hands-on experience with authentication and payment systems is a valuable plus.
