About the Role

We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to join our high-tech team in Gurugram. This role focuses on the end-to-end development of various software types, including end-user applications and operating system/utility software, which serve as a platform for applications sold to external customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough requirements gathering and analysis to understand software problem domains, functionality, hardware-software interfaces, and overall software characteristics.
• Write software code using programming, scripting, and/or database languages.
• Support software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding software enhancements.
• Apply knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

Qualifications and Expectations

• Possess comprehensive knowledge of the specific discipline or the broader area in which the position operates.
• Execute specialized projects and activities, typically working according to set principles.
• Generate and initiate own workload with minimal instructions or guidelines.
• May supervise the work of less experienced professionals, providing expertise and taking responsibility for the end-product.
• Expected to significantly improve day-to-day activities and processes.
