Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. Oracle is seeking a Front-End Web Developer who is passionate about combining design with programming. This position is for a Principal Applications Engineer within the Health Sciences Group in Bangalore, India, who will provide technical leadership. This is a hands-on role involving assisting product development teams, selecting appropriate technical frameworks, and solving complex problems. Responsibilities:

• Work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.
• Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX design.
• Create and use effective website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS/SASS best practices.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
• Integrate data from various back-end micro services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Actively stay abreast of technology trends and standards, recommend best practices and share learning.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor other engineers.

Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
• 9+ years of development experience on enterprise & cloud applications
• Experience with MV* frameworks (Backbone/Marionette, Angular, React/Redux)
• Excellent knowledge of front end architecture paradigms.
• Understand and be able to create Responsive UI elements
• Familiarity with hybrid mobile/desktop web development frameworks like Cordova
• Working knowledge of distributed source control systems like Git
• Excellent knowledge on Oracle JET, JQuery, Knockout JS and LESS/SASS
• Knowledge of using RESTful API
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment
