- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
- Proficient and demonstrated applied experience with CAD civil engineering software such as Bentley Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk Civil 3D; specialty civil platforms (e.g., Openflows) as required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Good verbal and written communication skills

Full Job Description
HDR is seeking a dedicated Site Civil Engineer (PE) for our Albuquerque, NM office. This role is central to designing and planning diverse civil projects, involving detailed quantity calculations and the supervision of a small team. You will engage in a variety of critical engineering activities, contributing to site layouts, horizontal and vertical control, grading and drainage, paving, site utilities, and other essential civil engineering tasks. The position requires preparing specifications and contract documents, exercising sound judgment in applying and modifying engineering techniques, and making key decisions on design and engineering procedures. This role offers the opportunity to function as a Technical Specialist or Project Manager on mid-size projects, though project management is not the sole focus. You will also supervise junior professionals and technicians as needed, while embracing our employee-owned culture.
