Full Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive ServiceNow Manual Tester SPM to validate the functionality, performance, and user experience of SPM capabilities on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have experience testing ServiceNow applications and workflows with a strong understanding of:
- Testing of SPM Features: Assess SPM functionality, ensuring relevance, accuracy, and expected behavior. Execute manual test cases for ServiceNow SPM features.
- Test Planning and Execution: Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test data based on functional and SPM-specific requirements.
- Execute manual tests across web, mobile, and portal interfaces in ServiceNow. Perform regression testing and provide UAT support for new features and enhancements.
- Defect Management and Reporting: Identify, log, and track defects using test management tools such as JIRA or ServiceNow Test Management. Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and retest fixes. Provide detailed reports on test execution status, defects, and quality metrics.
- Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, SPM specialists, and business analysts to understand testing needs. Contribute to improvements in QA processes and suggest enhancements to testing strategies for SPM features. Stay updated on ServiceNow SPM capabilities and upcoming platform features.
Qualifications
- Experience: Two plus years of experience in manual testing of ServiceNow applications. Familiarity with SPM or other ServiceNow modules is an advantage.
Skills
Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform and workflows.
- Ability to write and execute clear and concise test cases and scenarios. Familiarity with SPM logic validation and user behavior simulation. Proficiency in defect tracking and test documentation. Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Education - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications Preferred: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
Preferred Qualifications - Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments. Understanding of ITIL principles and service management workflows. Exposure to ServiceNow Automated Test Framework is a bonus. Core Focus Areas
