Senior Software Developer

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to contribute to the modernization of Vandportalen.dk and the development of a new IoT data acquisition platform for environmental sensor data. This role involves delivering functional software components across frontend, backend, cloud functions, and the data platform, ensuring stable, maintainable code and high-quality delivery of agreed functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software components for frontend, backend, cloud functions, and data platform.
• Ensure the delivery of stable, maintainable, and high-quality code.
• Contribute to the modernization of existing systems and the creation of new platforms.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of relevant IT/software development experience (mid/senior level).
• Frontend: Experience with React, TypeScript, Leaflet/OpenLayers, and time-series visualization.
• Backend: Proficiency in .NET and Azure Functions.
• Databases: Experience with PostgreSQL, PostGIS, and TimescaleDB.
• ETL/IoT: Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, IoT Hub, Event Grid, and MQTT.
• Monitoring: Experience with Loki and Grafana.
• Tools: Proficient with GitHub and Azure Cloud.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience with or a strong understanding of IoT data, particularly for environmental sensors (e.g., water level, groundwater level).
