Senior Sales Engineer

Alteryx is seeking Senior Sales Engineers to act as trusted technical advisors to enterprise customers, aiding them in modernizing their analytics strategies with AI, automation, and cloud-based data solutions. In this role, you will be pivotal in bridging customer needs with Alteryx's technical capabilities. Responsibilities include leading technical engagements, delivering product demonstrations, and providing solution recommendations, including the demonstration of Alteryx One benefits in cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data analytics, cloud data warehouses, and the evolving tech industry.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead technical engagements with enterprise customers.
• Design and deliver impactful demos and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
• Stay ahead of industry trends.
• Advise best practices for AI-driven data automation.
• Work with sales management.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of pre-sales or consultant experience in data analytics.
• Knowledge of public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Apache Spark.
• Strong knowledge of data analytics, data science, ETL processes, AI/ML workflows, and automation.
• Proficiency in using Alteryx or similar data analytics tools is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex selling situations.
• Ability to travel up to 40%.
• Must be located in the Boston area.

Compensation: The base salary range is $96,600–$140,000 with an On-Target Earnings (OTE) range of $138,000–$200,000. Includes Connectivity Plus stipend of $150/month and an annual home office reimbursement of $200.
