Senior Manager, Global IBP and Inventory Management

BD, a prominent global medical technology company, is seeking a Senior Manager, Global IBP and Inventory Management in Tempe, AZ. This role is instrumental in leading the implementation and coordination of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process for the Peripheral Intervention Business Unit. The successful candidate will ensure the IBP process is effectively reviewed and continuously improved, driving organizational adoption and acceptance across global and regional levels. Key responsibilities include orchestrating the ongoing IBP cycle, leading monthly Integrated Reconciliation (IR) and Management Business Review (MBR) meetings, partnering with Finance for financial clarity, and supporting annual process assessments and improvements. The role also involves creating the vision for IBP within the BU, ensuring alignment with BDx processes and global standards, and managing implementation projects with defined scope, schedules, and resources. This leadership position requires managing implementation teams, resolving project barriers and risks, and ensuring the IBP hierarchy supports integrated product, demand, supply, and financial planning. A significant aspect of the role is leading change management initiatives to ensure IBP adoption and evolution, followed by continuous education processes. The Senior Manager will maintain IBP policy and procedure documentation, develop and implement process improvement plans to optimize IBP for quality, cost, responsiveness, and growth, and proactively coach Process Leaders and Executive Champions. They will lead cross-functional teams to resolve issues and imbalances during the IBP cycle, participate in monthly Financial Appraisals, and facilitate the Integrated Reconciliation (IR) and Management Business Review (MBR) meetings, including agenda preparation, executive briefing, and follow-up on action items. The role demands providing data-driven information to the Leadership Team for strategic decision-making, engaging with Product Management, Finance, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and capitalize on opportunities, and monitoring process KPIs to ensure objectives are met. Analytical support for data reporting, critique of process critiques, and support for weakness identification and improvement plans are also vital. The Senior Manager will also lead annual self-assessments and coordinate external assessments of the IBP process.
