Senior Golang Engineer - Remote

We are hiring a Senior Golang Engineer for a 6-month contract, extensible to the end of the year. This is a remote position, and the work time can go up to 11 PM IST.

Requirements:

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Golang Engineer to lead the design and development of our high-scale backend services. You'll build robust, concurrent, and low-latency systems. You'll write idiomatic Go code, architect distributed systems, mentor junior developers, and drive engineering excellence.

Responsibilities:

• System Architecture: Design and implement scalable, microservices-based architectures using Golang.
• High-Performance Coding: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• API Development: Build and maintain high-performance RESTful and gRPC APIs.
• Performance Optimization: Profile and optimize services to reduce latency.
• Infrastructure & DevOps: Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes.
• Quality Assurance: Write comprehensive tests for 99.9% system reliability.
• Mentorship: Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance.
• Modern Tooling: Integrate AI-assisted development tools.

Experience:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of Golang experience in a production environment.
• Deep understanding of Go's concurrency model.
• Proven microservices experience.
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with messaging brokers.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes/Docker.
• Mastery of table-driven testing.

Preferred Qualifications:
