Senior Node.js Backend Developer (Remote)

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Node.js Backend Developer to enhance our server-side architecture and contribute to making global travel experiences unforgettable.

Note: Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, specifically within the Travel Industry, with demonstrable expertise in Hotel, Car Rental, or Ferry Booking API integrations.

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust server-side logic for our websites and web applications.
• Oversee and guide junior developers, ensuring the quality and timely delivery of their work.
• Design and implement proprietary APIs, as well as integrate various third-party APIs.
• Optimize the performance and scalability of backend systems.
• Collaborate effectively with frontend and backend development teams to ensure seamless system integration.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and server-side JavaScript development.
• Proven experience with web frameworks such as Nest.js or Fastify.
• Mandatory knowledge of Travel APIs and their integration.
• Solid understanding and experience with microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of AMQP systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Nats.
• Experience with database technologies including MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
• Expertise in API design and development (REST/SOAP).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React.js, Angular.js, Next.js).
• Proficiency in version control systems, specifically Git.
• Ability to work autonomously and as a valuable member of a team.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
