About the Role:
We're seeking a Senior Back End Engineer to join our team, a foundational role where you'll help architect the backend of our privacy-first communication platform. You'll build systems that deliver consumer-grade performance and military-grade privacy, working on a product that competes with the best in the market. You'll own backend architecture and work directly with founders. Expect fast growth in experience, learning, and impact.
What You'll Do:
- Design and build fast, secure APIs using NestJS and Golang.
- Architect robust microservices.
- Engineer real-time communication using WebSockets, WebRTC, and mediasoup.
- Optimize PostgreSQL and Redis.
- Lead Dockerized deployments and manage Kubernetes clusters.
- Collaborate with our team to ship high-quality code.
- Build for zero-trust environments.
Tech Stack: Socket-driven comms infrastructure, distributed control towers, multi-category encryption, root detection, app kill-switches, dynamic guest access, device-level lockout, and OOO/ DND logic.
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of backend experience.
- Expertise in Golang and Node.js (NestJS).
- Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong command over microservices, RESTful APIs, and authentication protocols.
- Prior experience with real-time systems (WebSockets, WebRTC, mediasoup is a big plus).
