- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in audit/advisory or other relevant experience
- High degree of proficiency in project management and facilitation– structuring discussion, prioritizing work, setting timelines, and identifying and removing roadblocks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to interface effectively at all levels of an organization
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, an inquisitive mindset, ability to think strategically, research effectively, and ability to navigate ambiguity
- Able to work from Culver City, CA office at least 3 days a week—there is no flexibility for this to be a fully remote position

Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) in Culver City, CA, is seeking a dedicated Senior Analyst, Finance Compliance - ESG to join its Finance Compliance Team. This pivotal role will leverage your audit expertise and project management capabilities to support Sony's commitment to a sustainable future. You will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) information for critical reporting purposes.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the development of auditable processes for collecting ESG data, specifically for Scope 1 and 2 Greenhouse Gas emissions for Sony Pictures.
- Acting as a primary liaison for collaboration with various sustainability and finance projects.
- Coordinating the implementation of auditable ESG processes across affected entities, managing system implementation, testing, and post-go-live enhancements.
- Driving project plans, monitoring milestone achievements, and leading mitigation efforts as needed.
- Spearheading stakeholder engagement through effective communication, project website management, and establishing feedback mechanisms.
- Producing regular status reports and identifying/mitigating risks for an executive audience.
- Structuring and communicating complex business problems, their root causes, and potential solutions using tools like PowerPoint and Visio.
- Leading stakeholder meetings to advance key initiatives.
- Identifying and proposing opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Providing ad hoc support as requested by project leadership.
This is a full-time, hybrid position requiring at least 3 days a week in the Culver City, CA office.
